How Invoice Simple’s invoice caps are structured
Invoice Simple limits how many invoices you send by plan, not by person.
The cap is per account, not per user
The invoice cap attaches to your subscription. Invoice Simple’s own comparison with Invoice2go, updated 9 September 2026, states there are no per-user subscription charges. Plan price follows invoice volume.
Which plans have one
Two of the three plans carry a cap: Essentials and Plus. The help center article on getting unlimited invoicing names Premium as the only route to unlimited.

Annual billing: same monthly cap
Annual billing was listed at $69.99, $149.99 and $219.99 a year on 29 September 2026. The page still states each cap per month, and notes that prices may vary by local currency.

What counts toward your 3 or 10 invoices
Invoices count; estimates, on the vendor’s current plan page, do not. Invoice Simple publishes nothing on the other document types.

Estimates: the vendor’s pages disagree
The Essentials plan page, modified 8 September 2026, lists estimates as unlimited on Essentials, Plus and Premium. The help articles for Essentials and Plus, dated 14 January 2025, describe the 3 and 10 as covering estimates and invoices together. This page follows the newer plan page.
Receipts, drafts and duplicates
Invoice Simple has not published whether these use a slot. We could not confirm it without a paid capped plan.

When the Invoice Simple limit resets
The monthly allowance refills each month, and unused invoices do not carry over.
Billing month, not calendar month
Invoice Simple’s help articles, dated 14 January 2025, describe the allowance as running from the start of your billing month to its end.
🔍 Why It Works This Way: The count follows your subscription cycle. If your billing month starts on the 12th, that is when the count restarts, not the 1st.
No rollover, even on annual billing
The vendor’s Invoice2go comparison, updated 9 September 2026, says the allowance resets monthly and a busy month does not reduce the next one. Annual Essentials therefore gives 36 invoices a year, but only 3 at a time. Plus gives 120, 10 at a time.
⚠️ This Costs You: Unused slots expire at month end. A 15-invoice month on Plus needs Premium for that month, however quiet the rest of the year is.
Changing plans mid-cycle
The pricing page FAQ says changes to feature limits apply to your next billing cycle (29 September 2026). Invoice Simple does not state whether an upgrade adds invoices immediately. It also doesn’t say whether the app blocks creating or sending once you reach the cap.
Why the free trial won’t show you the cap
The mobile trial runs on Premium, which has no cap.

The official Android listing is published by Zenvoice Software Inc and was updated 4 September 2026. The official iOS listing names Zenvoice Inc as developer. Unrelated apps in both stores use “Invoice Simple” in their names, so check the developer before paying.

Count the invoices you sent in your busiest recent month, then match that number to the caps in the table above.
Count estimates separately, for now
Estimates are listed as unlimited on the current plan page. If your business runs on estimates, confirm with support@invoicesimple.com before choosing Essentials, given the older help wording.
One invoice a week already exceeds Essentials
A month holds four or five weeks, so weekly invoicing produces four or five invoices. That is above the Essentials cap of 3. This is the site’s calculation from the vendor’s published cap; Plus covers up to 10.
Over 10 a month
