Invoice Simple Charged After Cancel? Plain Steps by Channel

Invoice Simple charge after cancellation showing web-direct and Google Play billing channels

One documented reason for a charge after cancelling is cancelling in the wrong place. Invoice Simple’s Help Center, captured 30 September 2026, says web-direct plans cancel in the web app’s Settings, while Google Play plans must be cancelled through Google. Its Terms, last modified 1 June 2026, call fees non-refundable, so recovering a charge means requesting it, not assuming it.

๐Ÿงพ Not tested: We did not cancel a plan or trigger a charge; that needs a paid Invoice Simple subscription on each channel, which we do not hold. Every step comes from a dated vendor or Google page.

Find out where your Invoice Simple plan is billed

Invoice Simple web and Google Play subscription cancellation paths
The correct cancellation and refund route depends on whether the Invoice Simple subscription is billed directly or through Google Play.

Your charge came from a web-direct or Google Play plan, and each cancels separately, per Invoice Simple’s Help Center cancellation article, dated 20 January 2026.

If you subscribed on the web

Use the web-direct row.

If you subscribed through Google Play

Sign in to the Google Account that bought it. Google Play Help, retrieved 30 September 2026, says a subscription you can’t find may be on a different account.

If you can’t tell which

If no Google Account lists it, contact Invoice Simple support with your receipt. Apple-purchased plans are outside this page.

Why Invoice Simple charged you after you cancelled

Cancelling Invoice Simple does not necessarily reverse a term that has already been paid for.

Compare your charge, cancellation and renewal dates against three documented mechanisms.

Cancelling doesn’t refund a term you’ve already paid

Invoice Simple’s Terms of Service, last modified 1 June 2026, say fees are charged in advance, monthly or annually, and are non-refundable for partial use or unused months. Google Play Help, retrieved 30 September 2026, says that after cancelling, access continues for the time already paid.

The Terms don’t say when a web-direct cancellation takes effect; the account-deletion article, dated 30 November 2023, says access lasts until the next renewal date.

If your plan began as a trial, see how the trial converts to a paid plan.

Uninstalling the app doesn’t cancel it

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription; Google Play Help states this directly, retrieved 30 September 2026.

Cancelling in the wrong place

Invoice Simple’s Help Center, dated 20 January 2026, says a Google Play plan must be cancelled directly through Google. A cancellation made anywhere else is not the one the vendor documents.

How to stop the next Invoice Simple charge

These steps apply to a web-direct or Google Play subscription on an account that hasn’t been deleted. Invoice Simple’s Google Play listing, retrieved 30 September 2026, shows no version number, so if a screen doesn’t match, stop and go to the support section.

Web-direct plan: cancel in the web app

Invoice Simple’s Help Center, dated 20 January 2026, documents this path:

  1. Log in to the Invoice Simple web app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription.

Save any confirmation that appears. The full cancellation steps for Invoice Simple cover the rest.

Android: cancel in Google Play

Google Play Help, retrieved 30 September 2026, documents this path:

  1. On your Android device, open subscriptions in Google Play, signed in to the Google Account that bought the plan.
  2. Select the Invoice Simple subscription.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.

If Invoice Simple still bills you after that

If the charge repeats after you cancel in the right channel, self-service ends here and Invoice Simple support takes over.

Contact support with the details it asks for

Invoice Simple’s contact article, dated 24 March 2022, lists 24/7 email (support@invoicesimple.com) and in-app chat. Its refund-policy article, dated 22 February 2024, asks for the subject line Cancellation Request, your account email and a screenshot of your subscription receipt.

Subject: Cancellation Request
Account email: your account email
Attached: screenshot of your subscription receipt
Message: I cancelled on [date] and was charged on [date]. Please review.

Deleting your account is not cancelling

๐Ÿ›Ÿ Back This Up First: Deleting removes the account and its data automatically, per Invoice Simple’s deletion article, dated 30 November 2023. Copy your invoices, estimates and client list somewhere outside Invoice Simple first.

Cancelling keeps that data, per its data article, dated 19 November 2025. Cancel first; the deletion article says so. It does not say whether deleting stops a Google Play charge.

Can you get your money back?

Neither channel’s documents promise a refund.

Web-direct plans

Invoice Simple’s Terms, last modified 1 June 2026, make fees non-refundable, with no credit for partial use or unused months. Its refund-policy article, dated 22 February 2024, still invites a request, but promises no outcome.

For the terms in full, see what Invoice Simple’s refund policy says.

Google Play plans: the two-pointer gap

Google’s refund policy page, retrieved 30 September 2026, says a request within 48 hours may be eligible and, after 48 hours, to contact the developer. Invoice Simple’s article, dated 22 February 2024, sends Google Play buyers to Google. Neither page explains how to break that loop.

Google’s page does not say whether a renewal counts as a new purchase.

โœ… Do This: If the charge is under 48 hours old, request a refund from Google first; otherwise email Invoice Simple with the details above.

How to make sure Invoice Simple doesn’t bill you again

Cancelling only helps if it stuck, so check the status where you cancelled and keep the proof.

Confirm the cancelled status in the right place

  1. On Google Play, reopen subscriptions in Google Play; Google Play Help, retrieved 30 September 2026, says a cancelled subscription shows a Resubscribe option.
  2. On the web, save whatever confirmation Invoice Simple shows; its cancellation article, dated 20 January 2026, does not describe a confirmation screen.

Keep the proof a refund request needs

Keep the subscription receipt screenshot that Invoice Simple’s refund article, dated 22 February 2024, asks for, plus your cancellation confirmation and the date of each charge.
