What Happens When the Invoice Simple Free Trial Ends

Table of Contents
Invoice Simple’s pricing page, checked 23 September 2026, describes a 14-day free trial on its mobile app with full Premium access. After day 14 the page says you choose a paid plan, and keeping everything the trial unlocked means Premium at $21.99 a month. The App Store listing, checked the same day, describes a smaller no-card free allowance instead, so confirm which your account shows.
Which Invoice Simple free trial do you actually have?
Invoice Simple’s own pages describe its free offer three different ways, captured 23 September 2026.
| Source | What it describes | Page date | Captured |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invoice Simple pricing page | 14 days of full Premium access on the mobile app | Modified 18 Sep 2026 | 23 Sep 2026 |
| Help center trial article | 14 days for “all users,” unlimited invoices and estimates | 4 Mar 2025 | 23 Sep 2026 |
| App Store listing, iOS v3.5.78 | Up to 2 free documents, 1 sent to a customer, no credit card | Not dated | 23 Sep 2026 |
The 14-day Premium trial (mobile)
Two first-party pages describe the 14-day trial. The newer one, the pricing page, limits it to the mobile app.
The document-limited free start (App Store listing)
The App Store listing never mentions 14 days. Whatever your own account’s upgrade screen shows is the offer that applies to you.
What the 14-day trial unlocks

Invoice Simple’s help center lists the trial’s contents in an article dated 4 March 2025, retrieved 23 September 2026.
Premium features listed by Invoice Simple
The article says the trial gives the full Premium plan feature set, including:
- Unlimited invoices and estimates.
- Premium, customizable invoice templates.
- Client signature requests on estimates.
- Scheduled future payments, customer deposits and QR-code payments.
- Business summary reports and client review requests.
The same article names PayPal as the online payment option. Invoice Simple’s Terms of Service, last modified 1 June 2026, describe payments run through third-party processors, so treat the help article’s payment line as dated.
What the trial doesn’t cover
Payment-processing fees sit outside the subscription. The Terms say processing fees are charged separately and posted on Invoice Simple’s fee schedule. We did not retrieve that schedule, so this article states no fee figure.
What happens when the 14 days run out

Invoice Simple’s pricing page, captured 23 September 2026, says that once the trial ends you select the plan that fits. Its FAQ says to do that from the app or web account under Settings, then Subscription.
Is there an automatic charge?
None of the Invoice Simple pages we checked on 23 September 2026 says whether the 14-day trial becomes a paid subscription on its own. The App Store listing says its free allowance needs no credit card. We will update this section once we have confirmed the day-15 state on a real account.
โ ๏ธ This Costs You: Once a subscription starts, the Terms of Service, last modified 1 June 2026, make fees non-cancelable and non-refundable for the term, with no credit for partial use. A plan picked on day 14 is paid for in full.
What happens to your invoices and clients
Invoice Simple’s help article on data after cancellation, dated 19 November 2025, says invoice history, estimates and client information stay stored after you cancel. The Terms, last modified 1 June 2026, allow the company to deactivate an account and delete its data after termination. The two pages don’t agree; the last section covers what to do about that.
What it costs to keep going after the trial
Keeping everything the trial unlocked means paying for Premium. All three plans below come from Invoice Simple’s published plan prices, in USD.
Monthly vs annual billing
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Invoices per month | Who hits this |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $6.99/mo (23 Sep 2026) | $69.99/yr (23 Sep 2026) | Up to 3 (23 Sep 2026) | Senders of 1โ3 a month |
| Plus | $14.99/mo (23 Sep 2026) | $149.99/yr (23 Sep 2026) | Up to 10 (23 Sep 2026) | Senders of 4โ10 a month |
| Premium | $21.99/mo (23 Sep 2026) | $219.99/yr (23 Sep 2026) | Unlimited (23 Sep 2026) | Senders of 11 or more a month |
๐๏ธ Pricing verified 23 September 2026. Software pricing changes frequently โ confirm on the vendor’s site before purchasing. The pricing page notes prices may vary by local currency. We re-check this page every 90 days; next scheduled check: 22 December 2026.
๐ Why It Works This Way: This is the site’s own calculation from the 23 September 2026 listed prices. Twelve monthly payments come to $83.88 on Essentials, $179.88 on Plus and $263.88 on Premium. The annual price saves $13.89, $29.89 and $43.89 respectively, which is just under the “two months free” the pricing page advertises.
Matching a plan to your monthly invoice count
Use the number of invoices you sent during the trial as your baseline. Our Invoice Simple pricing breakdown covers each plan in depth. Older, lower prices still appear on third-party sites, and our Invoice Simple price history tracks what changed. The Terms let Invoice Simple change fees with prior notice; our notes on Invoice Simple price increases cover what that means for subscribers.
What you lose by dropping below Premium
The trial runs on Premium, so any cheaper plan removes features the day you switch, per the pricing page captured 23 September 2026.
Moving from the trial to Plus
Plus drops four Premium features:
- Client signatures.
- Premium templates.
- Accepting deposits.
- Restoring previous invoices.
Plus also carries the monthly invoice cap shown in the price table above.
Moving from the trial to Essentials
Essentials loses those four and four more that Plus includes: adding photos, business owner signature, summary reports and due-date reminders. Its invoice cap is lower still.
One feature’s placement conflicts. The pricing page lists autofill for client info under Essentials, while the App Store listing, captured the same day, lists it under Plus. Check your plan’s paywall before relying on autofill in Essentials.
Before your trial ends: export, decide, or stop
Do three things, in this order, before day 14.
๐ Back This Up First: Invoice Simple’s help article dated 19 November 2025 says the Export Invoice Summary feature, in the app’s settings, downloads your invoice data as a CSV, PDF or spreadsheet file. Save that file outside Invoice Simple before the trial ends, because the Terms allow data deletion after termination.
Export your invoice history first
Run the export from the account that holds your invoices. Keep the file even if you subscribe.
Started on iPhone or Android? Billing lives with the store
- Direct subscription: the help center’s cancellation article, dated 20 January 2026, says to sign in, open Settings and select Cancel Subscription.
- App Store: cancel through Apple’s subscription settings. Invoice Simple’s refund policy article sends refund requests for these purchases to Apple.
- Google Play: cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Google warns that uninstalling the app does not cancel.
We found no trial-extension option on the pricing page, help center or App Store listing on 23 September 2026.
โ Do This: Export first, count your trial invoices, then subscribe or cancel through whichever of the three above bills you.
๐งพ Not Tested: We have not run the Invoice Simple trial on our own account. Whether day 15 brings a charge, a lock, or a fall-back to the free allowance is the one thing we could not confirm from public pages captured 23 September 2026.
