Zenvoice Software Inc. does business as Invoice Simple and issues the privacy policy covering its websites, mobile apps and web app.
Which store listing is the vendor’s
Google Play names Zenvoice Software Inc. as developer; the App Store names Zenvoice Inc. as seller (both read 5 October 2026). The vendor’s website footer links to both.

What Invoice Simple says it collects

The policy defines 10 categories of data, read in full on 5 October 2026.
The 10 categories in the policy
Contact, Profile, User, Invoice & Estimate, Billing, Support & Inquiry, Device, Performance & Log, Cookies and Other data.
Device and location data
The policy says device data covers device ID, IP address and geolocation. Apple’s App Store label (read 5 October 2026), which Apple says it hasn’t checked, lists identifiers under data used for tracking. Google Play’s card lists location among the types it may collect.
What the website’s pages contain
The cookie policy, updated 21 November 2024, describes web beacons and says Do Not Track signals don’t alter its practices. The policy page’s HTML, retrieved 5 October 2026, contains noscript fallbacks for a Facebook pixel and Google Tag Manager.
How long Invoice Simple keeps and shares your data

Most retention terms in the policy are open-ended.
Retention: indefinite is allowed
Account data may be kept indefinitely or until you ask for deletion; cookie data up to one year after expiry or collection (policy last modified 12 December 2022).
Sharing: affiliates, partners, integrations
It permits sharing with affiliates (never invoiced clients’ data), with partners for marketing or advertising where the law allows, and with connected services (policy of 12 Dec 2022). Its California section says consumer data isn’t transferred to third parties for valuable consideration. It describes reasonable security measures but gives no guarantee, and runs its services from servers in the United States and Canada.
Deleting: what four documents say
| Document and date | What it says about deleting data |
|---|---|
| Privacy policy, last modified 12 Dec 2022 | The in-app delete function may only hide data; a written request is needed for full removal |
| End User Terms, 16 Nov 2022 | System delete does not remove data; invoiced clients go through the Customer |
| Help article, 30 Nov 2023 | In-app account deletion removes the account and data automatically |
| Help article, 19 Nov 2025 | Cancelling does not delete invoices, estimates or client records |

Who owns Invoice Simple and what’s on record
Invoice Simple sits inside a larger company, which matters for what is on record.
Parent company
The policy names EverCommerce UK as Invoice Simple’s UK representative, and an EverCommerce job posting calls Invoice Simple one of its brands (both read 5 October 2026). We could not open a first-party acquisition date, so we give none.
What the public filing does and doesn’t say
A Maine attorney general filing lists a breach at EverCommerce: 751 people affected, discovered 26 May 2025, consumers notified 29 July 2025 (page read 5 October 2026). The filing names no product, and we have not opened its notice letter, so we cannot say whether Invoice Simple data was involved. For security and track record, see Is Invoice Simple safe?
What would change this verdict
Three dated signals would make this page out of date.
Policy or label changes
The policy page’s metadata shows a 26 August 2026 modification date (read 5 October 2026), while its body still says last modified 12 December 2022. We have not compared archived versions, so we cannot say what changed, if anything.
Features the policy doesn’t name
The site navigation lists an AI receptionist, bookkeeping and lending (read 5 October 2026). The policy text, read the same day, names none of them. The terms of service, last modified 1 June 2026, add a clause on AI-generated content.
Who should be cautious with their data on Invoice Simple
Your risk depends on your role.
If you’re the client on an invoice
Invoiced clients can’t make data requests to Invoice Simple directly. Per the policy (12 December 2022), they ask the business that invoiced them, which decides how long data is kept.
If you handle regulated or sensitive data
The terms of service bar HIPAA-regulated and PCI-regulated data. The End User Terms, which govern invoiced clients, also bar Social Security numbers, health data and third-party passwords. This is what the documents say, not legal advice.
Before you delete anything
๐ Back This Up First: Invoice Simple’s help center describes in-app account deletion as removing your data automatically. Export first: its export article describes a PDF, XLSX or CSV summary of invoices, does not mention client records, and limits PDF exports to two months at a time (read 5 October 2026).
Cancelling alone deletes nothing (help article, 19 November 2025); for the steps, see our export guide.
๐งพ Not Tested: We did not open an account, run the apps, send a data request or load the site in a browser. This describes what Invoice Simple’s documents and store listings say on 5 October 2026, not how it behaves.

Before relying on any of it, check the policy’s last-modified line, and export what you need first. Privacy is one input to whether the tool is worth it once you count the real cost.
