Which Invoice Simple Integrations Work Outside the US

Invoice Simple payment integrations and regional availability

Most of Invoice Simple’s payment integrations stop at the US border. As of 28 September 2026, its help center lists Stripe payments, Stripe Tap to Pay, ACH bank transfers, Venmo, and automatic recurring payments as US-only. Online payments through PayPal are the exception. Six regions are eligible: the US (excluding Puerto Rico), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, and the Philippines.

What Invoice Simple actually connects to

Invoice Simple integrations with Stripe PayPal Plaid and Zyratalk
Invoice Simple connects with payment, banking-data, and AI receptionist services through separate integrations.

On 28 September 2026, Invoice Simple’s help center documents four outside services: two payment processors, one banking link, and one phone service.

Payment processors

Stripe and PayPal handle online payments. PayPal’s help collection also covers Venmo, ACH bank transfers, and Buy Now Pay Later.

Banking and bookkeeping

The Bookkeeping feature uses Plaid to pull transactions from a linked bank account, with read-only access, per the bookkeeping setup article dated 14 May 2026. A separate AI receptionist from Zyratalk answers client calls; that article is dated 8 July 2026.

Tools it doesn’t list

On 28 September 2026, the help center’s collection list had no articles for QuickBooks, Xero, or Zapier. Payoneer appears on at least one software directory’s Invoice Simple listing, but not in either of the vendor’s payment collections.

Which Invoice Simple features only work in the US

Invoice Simple US-only payment features including Stripe ACH Venmo and Tap to Pay
Several Invoice Simple payment features are documented as available only to eligible US businesses.

As of 28 September 2026, Invoice Simple’s help center documents five payment features as US-only. The table lists automatic payments once per processor, which is why it has six rows.

Everything on Stripe

The Stripe setup article is itself labelled for US customers only. Tap to Pay, check deposits, and instant payouts all run through a Stripe connection, so they carry the same limit.

PayPal features limited to the US

PayPal checkout reaches further than the US, as the next section shows. ACH bank transfers and Venmo do not.

Automatic recurring payments

Both processors limit automatic payments to the US. The PayPal version also excludes Puerto Rico and doesn’t support PayPal ACH or Buy Now Pay Later for autopay.

What still works if you’re outside the US

As of 28 September 2026, online payments through PayPal are the only processor option Invoice Simple documents for businesses outside the US. That option covers five regions beyond the US.

The six PayPal regions

The PayPal regions article, dated 19 March 2026, lists:

  • The US, excluding Puerto Rico
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Great Britain
  • The Philippines

Businesses in India, the EU, and every other unlisted country have no documented online-payment processor in Invoice Simple.

What PayPal eligibility doesn’t unlock

Being in a PayPal region does not bring ACH, Venmo, or automatic payments with it; see the table in the section above.

๐Ÿ” Why It Works This Way: The region list governs PayPal checkout. ACH, Venmo, and autopay each carry their own US-only note in their own help articles, so you have to read both lists together.

The Puerto Rico gap

Puerto Rico is excluded from PayPal payments and PayPal autopay. The Stripe articles say “U.S. customers” without mentioning Puerto Rico, and we could not confirm whether Stripe covers it. The vendor also writes “Great Britain” and doesn’t state whether Northern Ireland is included.

Do you need a paid plan for these integrations?

Online payments are included from Essentials, the lowest paid plan, on Invoice Simple’s pricing page retrieved 28 September 2026.

Plans that include online payments

Plus and Premium include everything in Essentials, so all three paid plans list online payments. Premium adds accepting deposits. Current plan prices are on our Invoice Simple pricing breakdown.

The trial exception

The pricing page states that the mobile free trial gives 14 days of full Premium access. Trial terms are covered in how the Invoice Simple free trial works.

โš ๏ธ This Costs You: A plan that lists “online payments” doesn’t change your region. If your country isn’t on the lists in the two sections above, subscribing gets you no processor to connect.

Which integrations need the mobile app

Tap to Pay is a phone-only feature. As of 28 September 2026, the help center doesn’t state whether the other integrations also work on the web.

Tap to Pay

Stripe Tap to Pay needs no extra hardware and is limited to Stripe users in the US. It runs on the supported iPhone and NFC-enabled Android phones listed in the Tap to Pay article.

Bookkeeping and AI receptionist setup

Both setup articles describe in-app navigation, and neither says whether setup works from the web app. Neither article states a region limit either, and we could not confirm that Bookkeeping or the AI receptionist works outside the US.

Your options if Invoice Simple’s payments don’t cover you

If your country is missing from both lists, you still have three routes.

Use PayPal if you’re in a listed region

โœ… Do This: If you’re in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, or the Philippines, connect a PayPal business account for card and PayPal checkout. Don’t plan around ACH, Venmo, or autopay.

Invoice now, collect payment elsewhere

You can still send invoices and record payments you receive outside the app. The vendor’s steps are:

  1. Open the invoice’s edit screen and hit Payment Scheduling.
  2. Hit Record Payment under Payment History.

Switch to a tool with local processors

If you need in-app card collection, check a replacement’s payment-processor region page before you subscribe.

๐Ÿงพ Not Tested: We could not connect Stripe or PayPal ourselves, because both require a business in an eligible region. Every limit above comes from Invoice Simple’s help center as of 28 September 2026.

Whether the subscription still earns its cost with those limits is weighed in is Invoice Simple worth it once you count the real cost.
