Invoice Simple pricing and the actual cost of each plan

Table of Contents
Invoice Simple costs $6.99, $14.99 or $21.99 per month for Essentials, Plus and Premium, verified on the vendor’s pricing page on 18 September 2026. Annual billing is $69.99, $149.99 and $219.99 โ ten monthly payments plus nine cents on every tier, so the “2 months free” banner holds almost exactly. All fees are non-refundable under the terms of service.
Which Invoice Simple plan you’re actually choosing between
Invoice Simple sells three paid plans, and what separates them is a monthly invoice count, not a feature set.
The three paid tiers, in one line each
Essentials caps you at three invoices a month, Plus at ten, and Premium removes the cap, per the Essentials plan page retrieved 18 September 2026. Estimates are unlimited on all three.
Is there a free version?
No permanent free tier is listed. The vendor’s pricing page advertises a 14-day free trial, while the US App Store listing describes two free documents with one sendable and no card required โ both retrieved 18 September 2026. Those two descriptions differ, and what the trial actually grants belongs to Invoice Simple free trial: what the 14 days include.

Monthly billing
Figures are quoted in US dollars, and the vendor’s own footnote states prices may vary by local currency (pricing page, retrieved 18 September 2026).
Annual billing
The annual option carries a banner reading “Go annual for 2 months free” on the same page, retrieved 18 September 2026. What that actually works out to is in the per-invoice section below.
What you get and don’t get on each tier
Every tier shares the same core; the paid upgrades buy volume first and a short list of document features second.
What the cheapest tier already includes
Essentials carries autofill for client and item details, online payments, QR code payments, real-time read receipts and expense tracking, per the pricing page and Essentials plan page retrieved 18 September 2026.
One exclusion sits in small type inside the feature matrix and matters before you pay: online payments are available in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines (Essentials plan page, retrieved 18 September 2026). Outside those six, that column does not apply to you.

What only the top tier unlocks
Plus adds photos, a business owner signature, summary reports and due date reminders. Premium adds client signatures, premium templates, deposit collection, restoring previous invoice versions, and first-response support priority โ all retrieved 18 September 2026.
The billing terms to read before you subscribe
The commitment terms sit in section 6 of the Terms of Service, last modified 1 June 2026 and retrieved 18 September 2026.
Fees are charged in advance and renew automatically
Subscription fees are billed automatically to your payment method and charged in advance, monthly or annually depending on the plan you pick (Terms of Service ยง6, retrieved 18 September 2026).
There are no refunds, including on downgrades
No. All fees are described as non-cancelable and non-refundable for the entire term, with no credits for partial use, no upgrade or downgrade refunds, and no refunds for unused months on an active account (Terms of Service ยง6, retrieved 18 September 2026).
โ ๏ธ This Costs You: Choosing the annual option on the top tier commits the full $219.99 up front (pricing page, 18 September 2026) against terms that allow no refund for unused months and none on a downgrade. If you are unsure of your volume, the monthly option is the reversible one. Stopping the renewal itself is covered in How to cancel Invoice Simple.
The vendor can change the price on notice
The same section reserves the right to modify stated fees on prior notice, and the agreement gives customers 30 days to reject updated terms in writing (retrieved 18 September 2026). Nothing in it promises that an existing subscriber’s rate is held.
What each plan costs per invoice you actually send
At its invoice cap, each plan works out to a different price per document. The figures below are our calculation from the vendor-published prices and caps verified 18 September 2026; the vendor does not publish them.
| Plan | Per invoice, monthly | Per invoice, annual | Who hits this |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | ~$2.33 (calc., 18 Sep 2026) | ~$1.94 (calc., 18 Sep 2026) | Billing at the 3-invoice ceiling |
| Plus | ~$1.50 (calc., 18 Sep 2026) | ~$1.25 (calc., 18 Sep 2026) | Billing at the 10-invoice ceiling |
| Premium | Falls with volume | Falls with volume | No cap to divide by |
Cost per invoice at each cap
Monthly figures divide the plan price by its cap; annual figures divide the annual price by twelve months of that cap.
What the fourth invoice in a month costs
Stepping from the three-invoice tier to the ten-invoice tier costs $8.00 a month (our calculation from the prices verified 18 September 2026). That fourth invoice costs you $8.00, and the next six come with it.
What annual billing really saves
๐ Why It Works This Way: On all three tiers the annual price equals ten monthly payments plus nine cents (our calculation, 18 September 2026). Measured against twelve monthly payments, annual saves $13.89, $29.89 and $43.89 from cheapest tier to dearest. The “2 months free” claim is accurate to within nine cents โ rare enough in this category to be worth checking.
Card and bank payment processing fees are charged separately on a published fee schedule we did not retrieve, so none of the figures above include them. You can work out your own annual cost against your real monthly volume.
Where you subscribe can change what you pay
The web checkout and the app stores are three separate price surfaces, and only one of them publishes a full price list.
What the app stores publish
The Google Play listing, updated 4 September 2026 and retrieved 18 September 2026, publishes no plan prices at all โ it describes the three tiers and links to the vendor’s pricing page. The US App Store listing, retrieved the same day, states that subscriptions start at $6.99 but did not render its in-app purchase price list on any copy we could open, so we are not stating US in-app figures.
Prices outside the United States
The Greek App Store listing, retrieved 18 September 2026, lists in-app subscriptions including Essentials Monthly 7,99 โฌ, Plus Monthly 17,99 โฌ and Premium Monthly 24,99 โฌ. Apple shows a partial, ranked list that can include legacy products, so treat these as listed price points rather than proof of what a new subscriber is charged. They are not conversions of the dollar figures.
Which plan to start on
โ Do This: Count your invoices for one real month first. Under three, the cheapest tier covers you; between four and ten, the middle tier is the cheaper unit price; only past ten does the top tier stop being an overpayment. Whether the product is worth paying for at all is covered in Is Invoice Simple worth it once you count the real cost?
๐งพ Not Tested: We hold no paid Invoice Simple subscription, so nothing here describes using the product. Plan-selection and billing screens sit behind a paid account and were not captured. The US App Store in-app price list would not render on any copy we opened, and processing fees sit on a schedule we did not retrieve. Everything stated above comes from public vendor and store pages opened on 18 September 2026.
